How a WhatsApp QR code works
The code contains a WhatsApp "click to chat" link in the official format: https://wa.me/ followed by your number. When someone scans it, WhatsApp opens a chat with you — they don't need to add you to their contacts first.
If you add a pre-filled message, it appears ready to send in their message box, for example "Hi! I'd like to place an order." They can edit it before sending.
Writing your number correctly
WhatsApp needs your number in international format: country code first, then the number, with no leading zero. The generator removes spaces, dashes, brackets and the plus sign for you.

Do people need to save my number to message me?

Can I change the pre-filled message later?
The message is stored inside the code, so a printed code always shows the same text. Create a new code to change it. The person scanning can still edit the message before sending.

Why does the chat open with the wrong number?
Usually the country code is missing or the number starts with 0. Enter it in international format, such as +92 300 1234567, and create the code again.
