What you can link to

Paste the link into the Social Media tab and it picks up the Facebook logo and colours automatically.

Set a custom page username first (for example facebook.com/yourbrand). It is shorter than a numeric ID link, so the code is simpler.
Make sure the page or group is public, or people who aren't members will see a login wall.
Add a call to action under the code: "Scan to follow us on Facebook".

Does the code open the Facebook app?

On most phones, yes. If the app is installed the link opens there; otherwise it opens in the browser.

Can I use my own logo instead of Facebook's?

Yes. Open the Branded tab, paste the same link and upload your logo.

Does it expire?

No. The link is stored in the code itself, so it works as long as the page exists.
