PDF QR Code Generator
Share a brochure, menu, manual or certificate with a single scan. Put your PDF online, paste its link, and turn it into a branded QR code.
Step 1: get a public link to your PDF
A QR code can't hold a whole document, so the code stores a link to it. Choose where the PDF lives:
- Your own website (best) — upload it to your site or WordPress media library and copy the file link. You control it, and nothing expires.
- Google Drive — right-click the file → Share → set General access to "Anyone with the link" → Copy link.
- Dropbox or OneDrive — create a share link that anyone can view.
Open the link in a private browser window before you make the code. If it asks you to sign in, the sharing settings are wrong.
Step 2: paste the link and style the code
Paste the link above, then pick colours and add your logo. Test-scan the preview with your phone to confirm the PDF opens.
Updating the PDF without reprinting
The code always opens the same link, so keep the link the same and change the file behind it:
- Your website — overwrite the file at the same address.
- Google Drive — use Manage versions → Upload new version instead of uploading a new file, which keeps the link unchanged.
For menus and anything people read on phones, a mobile web page is often easier to read than a PDF. See editable QR codes for more ways to change content after printing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload the PDF to QRLogo Studio?
Not currently. Host it on your website, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, then paste the link here.
Will the PDF QR code expire?
The code itself never expires. It works as long as the link to your PDF stays live.
Is there a size limit for the PDF?
The code only stores the link, so file size doesn't matter to the code. Smaller PDFs open faster on mobile data.
